Timber Dog Rescue & Rehome

As the Governing body of the Timber Dog, we maintain a lifelong vested interest in all puppies that are registered with our club.

Timber Dog Club UK breeders will always do everything in their power to take back dogs that they have bred should unfortunate circumstances occur, but individual circumstances may mean this is not always possible.

In such cases, the Timber Dog Club will step in and attempt to use foster carers to assist, as we believe a suitable home environment is far more beneficial to their wellbeing. Experience has shown that putting Timbers in kennels can often cause them to shut down, making it more of a challenge when it comes to permanent rehoming.

Timber dogs are not like most breeds of dog, they are very sensitive and very human orientated. Placing them in family environments whilst finding them a suitable forever home keeps them happy and well balanced. This also offers the opportunity for the foster carers to begin to fulfil any needs that the dog may have.

Timber Dog Rescue is funded via the Breed Club. If you feel that you could help us, please consider donating.
